چکیده
fever and a rubber catheter was passed by the local doctor to relieve the bladder. About an inch and a half of the catheter was outside the external urethral meatus. Towards the end, the doctor was making suprapubic pressure to expel last portions of urine, and, on relievingthe pressure, to his utter amazement the catheter seemed to have been " sucked into" the bladder. An attempt at removing it proved fruitless. The patient was admitted into the hospital 4 days after the accident. The end of the catheter could then be felt in the perineum behind the scrotum.
